The European Care Conference and the German Care Market Conference will take place for the first time in 2008. They inaugurate a series of annual conferences to be held in February of each year to come. The conferences will assemble high-ranking experts and executives from different segments of the care industry to provide a qualified and forward-looking view of this exciting future sector.
The term “care market” has been carefully chosen. It reflects the scope of the conferences, which are not limited to a narrow field. Rather, they bring together the major opinion-makers and decision-makers from different areas and stimulate the founding of new networks.
In this way the conferences also indicates what direction the future development of the care market will take. Because care itself and care insurance will no longer be the only predominant issues. Increasingly, a care market will become established around the growing demands, and will be of vital economic importance for many stakeholders. Thus the need for information is great, even across the boundaries of the various segments of the field.
For this reason the conferences bring together not only different European markets, but also the political and financial sectors, providers, project developers, equipment suppliers, the pharmaceuticals industry, legal expertise, the insurance industry, private equity, municipal associations, medicine, facility management, gerontology, and more.
The number of participants at each of the two conferences is limited to 150. Furthermore, participation is by personal invitation only. This ensures that an optimum group of disseminators will be convened.
